Thank you for considering me as your mediator. My goal is to offer a respectful, supportive, and balanced process where people feel guided, informed, and heard as they move through a difficult time. I help families navigate making complex decisions with support, keeping the focus on long-term well-being—especially the well-being of their children.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and family mediator, serving clients throughout the St. Louis St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, and Southern Illinois. My practice focuses on divorce mediation, child custody mediation and parenting plans, and co-parenting.
As a member of the Collaborative Family Law Association of St. Louis, I also serve as a Collaborative Divorce Coach, helping support parents in this unique divorce option.
For more than 10 years, I have worked within the St. Louis family law community, collaborating with attorneys, therapists, judges, and other mediators to help families reduce conflict and reach agreements. In addition to working directly with clients, I am always interested in learning more and skill development. I also facilitate training for professionals, helping other mediators strengthen their skills and better serve families.
Before moving to St. Louis, I practiced social work in Chicago for more than a decade. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri–Columbia and my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. I completed Divorce Mediation Training at Northwestern University in 2008, followed by an Advanced Mediation Internship in 2009.
Throughout my career, my work has centered on families, children, and the principles of peace, collaboration, and justice.
Whether you need support through the entire divorce process or assistance with a specific issue—such as developing a parenting plan, resolving custody disputes, or improving co-parent communication—I tailor the mediation process to meet the unique needs of each circumstance. My services include:
- Divorce and separation mediation
- Child custody and parenting plan mediation
- Co-parent counseling
- Divorce coaching
- Parenting coordination
- Collaborative divorce coaching
My mediation style is open, honest, and practical. I believe in creating a respectful environment where everyone feels heard, while also helping clients stay focused on realistic solutions. I often use humor to ease tension when appropriate. I have a future-focused style and don’t shy away from gently challenging unproductive patterns to support the shifting to find success. My role is not to take sides, but to help families communicate more effectively and make informed decisions that support their future.
I offer both in-person and virtual mediation. Many clients appreciate the flexibility of virtual sessions, less travel time and parking, allow participants to be in a comfortable setting, and make it easy to review and edit documents together in real time. My office is located in South St. Louis City near Tower Grove Park, daytime appointments are available, and limited evening appointments can be arranged when needed.
No matter where you are in the process, my goal is to help you reduce conflict, make informed decisions, and create a path forward that works for you and your family.
