I am a trained Parenting Coordinator.  Parenting Coordination is “a quasi-legal, mental health, alternative dispute process that combines assessment, education, case management, conflict management and sometimes decision making functions” for high conflict divorced co-parents.  A Parenting Coordinator role is the implement the parenting plan, monitor compliance by both parents, help co-parents resolve conflicts regarding the children and the parenting plan n a timely manner consistent with the child’s psychological and developmental needs, minimize the child’s exposure to conflict, and protect and sustain safe, healthy, and meaningful parent-child relationships.

In order to take advantage of Parenting Coordination you must speak with your attorney so that an “order” can be submitted to the court.
